The Executive Assistant position requires the need to be highly self-motivated along with having strong analytical, communication and organizational skills and the ability to effectively engage with board members, senior team members, and other high profile audiences with a high level of finesse, diplomacy and professionalism. This position coordinates the executive office, performs personal, professional and confidential projects, and assists the Chairman & CEO. The Executive Assistant oversees and manages the flow and exchange of information, communicates with key constituencies and conducts research on behalf of the Chairman & CEO, and develops and implements sound administrative strategies and tactics that promote excellence as directed. The position requires the ability to present oneself in a highly professional manner, schedule in anticipation of events, management of details, well developed written and oral communication skills, and a responsive, flexible and thorough approach to work. Has the ability to instill confidence and work well with a wide variety of people. This position serves as an "agent" of the Chairman & CEO’s office and makes these needs a top priority. Work requires a high level of discretion and handling of confidential information. This position is not static and will be revised as the needs of the organization’s business evolve.





To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should be able to demonstrate and provide the following:

  • Five plus years of progressively responsible executive level administrative support.
  • Bachelor’s level degree strongly preferred.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Discreetly handle confidential and politically sensitive matters.
  • Advance knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills, communications skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Plan, organize and schedule office priorities.
  • Ability to demonstrate past experience with confidentiality.
  • Ability to work with multiple constituencies.
  • Effectively screen incoming calls and visitors; maintain mail log, sort and or route incoming and outgoing correspondence, schedule appointments and make travel arrangements.
  • Ability to perform research, create reports and presentations on confidential material.
  • Plan and efficiently organize work in terms of setting and meeting priorities.
  • Able to exercise discretion, initiative, and independent judgment in making sound decisions and in developing solutions to problems.
