Overview

The Wellness Program Coordinator is a self-driven, collaborative, and motivated person who is passionate about encouraging a holistic lifestyle through spiritual, emotional and physical health for all POET team members. This position has exciting growth potential. In this position, the Wellness Program Coordinator will perform a variety of tasks to create and administer Energy for Life program offerings. These tasks include compiling and writing motivational messages to POET team members, maintaining accurate and informative website content, planning and implementing wellness challenges, coordinating Energy for Life orientation for new members, selecting and managing fitness program offerings, overseeing the POET food market offerings, and planning and implementing educational opportunities through POET Lunch & Learns. The Wellness Program Coordinator is a champion for holistic health to support team member health and wellness across POET.

 

 

Qualifications

To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should be able to demonstrate and provide the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Health & Wellness Management or a closely related degree required.
  • 2-4 years of experience coordinating or managing a corporate wellness program required.
  • Upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Superior professionalism, judgment, resourcefulness in solving problems and strong work ethic.
  • Solid project management skills to independently plan, organize, and schedule priorities.
  • Effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work with multiple constituencies.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills as well as the ability to adapt to change.
