JOB SUMMARY

 

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a knack for numbers and a passion for finance? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and have a strong understanding of accounts payable processes? If so, we are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team. In this role, your work plays an integral role in maintaining our vendor relationships and cash flow, while also providing the foundation for building our financial statements. DURING A TYPICAL DAY

  • Reconcile AR and AP (subsidiary ledgers to general ledger) daily
  • Generate invoices daily and review for accuracy before distribution to the customer
  • Process AP invoices in a timely manner
  • Process freight related payments
  • Prepare month-end accruals (freight, lease inventory, price true-ups)
  • Update operating lease schedule monthly
  • Assist with vendor maintenance and year-end 1099s
  • Maintain and update process documentation for role
  • Since we are all about teamwork and getting the job done, your skills may be put to a lot of other uses!

 

QUALIFICATIONS: WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years’ experience in accounting or a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office including MS Excel and Outlook
  • Experience working with financial statements
  • Experience applying and interpreting GAAP
