JOB SUMMARY:

 

POET Is seeking a highly motivated, self-driven Trade Fulfillment Manager with a passion for people!

The Trade Fulfillment Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the communication channels between accounting, marketing, planning, and logistics teams. This role requires an individual who is skilled in identifying opportunities for process and system improvements to enhance interdepartmental collaboration. The ideal candidate will ensure the accurate and timely execution of transactions and trades, while maintaining financial controls and ensuring that all exchanges and trade positions are consistently balanced.

 

This is an on-site role located in Wichita, KS.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Effectively execute departmental strategies and company objectives through leadership, coaching, managing performance and career development and training of trade fulfillment team members.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to improve processes and systems, driving collaboration between teams to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the end-to-end process for the execution of transactions and trades, from entry to final settlement, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of and adherence to necessary financial controls and regulatory requirements, applying them to the day-to-day order execution process.
  • Understand and communicate the economic intent behind all trades and transactions to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Challenge the status quo by identifying value-creation opportunities, continuously seeking ways to improve processes and drive efficiencies across teams.
  • Demonstrate adaptability to take on additional tasks or assist in other areas as needed, contributing to a team-oriented environment focused on achieving business objectives.
  • Setting clear expectations with team members and fostering a trusting culture of teamwork and individual accountability.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the area of accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years working in an accounting or finance role
  • 2+ years of leadership experience, mentoring, coaching and developing teams
