JOB SUMMARY

As the Senior Process Improvement Manager, your primary role is to identify and lead improvements to our business processes that will drive value across the system.  As a key member of the team, this position will lead a variety of projects related to process and technology solutions and will be the primary liaison between POET Bioprocessing and the POET Information Technology (IT) team. This is a role with a lot of moving parts, but don’t worry. DURING A TYPICAL DAY

• Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate and analyze potential solutions to create business process efficiencies
• Serve as the primary liaison between POET Bioprocessing and the POET Information Technology (IT) teams
• Interface with the IT department to deliver timely solutions for the company’s initiatives
• Contribute to and participate in cross-functional initiatives to design and deliver software application solutions
• Evaluate and prioritize business needs around requests for software enhancements or new technology solutions
• Ensure stakeholder engagement and effective communication across projects
• Drive integration and collaboration across key project participants
• Support evaluation of cost and benefits for proposed process changes
• Measure and report on the impact of improvement initiatives
• Direct the development of project plans and project status reports
• Lead a variety of projects:
  • identify inefficiencies or opportunities that can create value within our business processes
  • collaborate with stakeholders to research, identify, and implement solutions to improve business processes
  • take a lead role to define the user experience for new and existing applications
  • coordinate the enhancement, development, and maintenance of business and systems operations
  • identify key business process owners to assist in application or process improvement implementation
  • ensure that the change management processes and procedures compliment any new policies, procedures, or processes

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Willing to travel occasionally to the Sioux Falls office and the bioprocessing facilities for projects. At times overnight travel may be required.
